Delta Gamma Phi
University of Michigan's only pre-law sorority

Alpha Chapter
As a professional and social sorority, we strive to advance future careers in law through our promotion of academic excellence, increased knowledge in the field, unique opportunities for leadership through service, a network of devoted sisters, friendship, unity, and unlimited guidance and support. We hope to represent a side of law that is both diverse and honorable, and one in which women have a presence and a voice.

About Us
Our Preamble
Delta Gamma Phi seeks to promote the education of law, academic excellence, friendship, unity, and diversity among a sisterhood of undergraduate students. Our organization also seeks to provide service and leadership opportunities to our members through the enrichment of our community.

Who are we?
Founded on November 10th, 2005 with the idea of creating a network of information, education, unity, and friendship among pre-law undergraduate women. Delta Gamma Phi was created for the purpose of fostering a community of women interested in law. We are the nation’s first pre-law sorority, and the Alpha chapter is here at the University of Michigan.

What do we do?
Our sorority lies on four pillars. We are pre-professional, academic, social (both through networking, as well as within our own organization through bonding), and we promote and practice service. We reach these four pillars by participating and joining one another in events and programs. These may include, but are not limited to:
Women in law panels
Guest speakers (attorneys, law school representatives, and law students)
Resume workshops
Volunteer opportunities
Social events like movie nights, formals, tailgates, study rooms, and more!
Networking events with other U of M pre-law organizations and fraternities
